Inferno Valtellina Superiore d.o.c.g.

This wine comes from the smallest and rockiest of the Valtellina Superiore sub-areas, in a series of small terraces clinging to the live rock of the mountain.
It is a red wine slightly rough when young, and which mellows with age, with a particularly characteristic bouquet and body. Excellent with red meat and games, as well as ripe cheese.

Grapes: 95% Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca), 5% other local grapes (Pignola, Rossola, Pinot nero).
Colore: brilliant ruby red.
Bouquet: delicate, subtle.
Serving temperatures: 18-20 °C.
